Information We Collect

• Contact details you submit through our forms (name, work email, company, and message), used solely to respond to your inquiry.
• Basic website analytics such as pages visited and approximate region, used to improve the site. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser so a returning visit can be recognised. Blocking those cookies does not change how any part of this site works.
• We do not collect or transmit the engineering data you analyze in our desktop products — see "Your Engineering Data" below.

Your Engineering Data Stays Local

MDX and XHandbook are local-first applications. Measurement files, EHANDBOOK containers, calibration data, and any documents you open are processed on your own machine or your own infrastructure. By default, this data never leaves your environment and is never sent to VehicleLab. Optional AI features can be configured to run entirely against your private, on-premise models with per-organization data isolation.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to sales and support requests, provide and improve our products and website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing & Service Providers

We may share limited information with trusted service providers (for example, website hosting and form delivery) strictly to operate our services, and only under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We retain contact information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Use of the Software

Subject to a valid license or agreement, VehicleLab grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use our software for your internal engineering purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the software except as permitted by law or a separate written agreement.

Licensing & Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise deployments, on-premise installations, and custom development are governed by the specific commercial agreement signed with VehicleLab. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls.

Your Data & Responsibilities

You are responsible for the data you process with our tools and for ensuring you have the rights to use it. Because MDX and XHandbook run locally, you retain full control and custody of your engineering data at all times.

Intellectual Property

The software, website, and all related materials are owned by VehicleLab and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Disclaimers

Our products assist engineering analysis and decision-making but do not replace professional judgment. The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for validating results before relying on them in safety- or compliance-critical contexts.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VehicleLab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or software.
